Mrs. Brisby is a small, timid mouse with great responsabilities in life. After losing her husband, the little widow was left alone with the responsability for four children, one of them gravely ill. She is usually very shy, and doesn't care much for excitement or adventures, but has proven her courage time and again when forced to face her fears in order to save her children from harm.
