I absolutely HATE the anime.
They ruined Furuba for me.
Furuba is at it's greatest in manga.
The anime just left out TOO much.
They never got to the real romance
Between
[spoiler]Kyo and Tohru
and
Machi and Yuki[/spoiler]
And that was the best thing about Fruits Basket.
It just kinda ended on you v_v
You never got to see the awkward Kyo

Woot, I absolutely positively LOVE Fruits Basket!!! I've loved anime and manga for years, but this it the manga that really got me obsessed with japanese cartooning.  I've only seen one full episode (the first) and bits and pieces of others. From what I've seen the manga is waaay better than the anime, but the anime is stil highly loveable. :3 I've read the whole manga series and plan on buying the anime as soon as I find a box set.

I love it! It got the romance and it was funny. I don't usually go for the really no action manga and anime but this is a MUST read!
