Knightsaber wrote:hmmmmmmmmmmm if you like shounen-ai then i would suggest Yami No Matui. I couldn't give you a good summary about it though. A anime that I have come to enjoy is Hellsing.
Summary: An orginaization called the Hellsing agency rids the english land of vampires. However chiped vampires hardley touched by the curse begin popping up in many locations. Forceing them to bring out their ultimate huntsman, Alucard. He is a rouge vampire, helping the Hellsing agency. Following the orders of his Master, Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing, he and Sereas, his new puppet, fight the chiped vmpires and anyother threats they might incounter.
I do have to say, it's really bloody. Kinda why i like it.
Hellsing the anime kinda deviates a lot from the manga so much it's annoying. However that's if you are a purist at theses things like I am, heh.
There's also the the Hellsing OVA series which is awesome, more in line with the manga with the Millenium crew, gorier and with 3D graphics incorporated in the background, machienes, and guns.
heh and anime recomendations?
Excuse the pun, but for people who are into deep thinking and philosphical animes, Full Metal Alchemist is great. Not many people though seem to be intrested in the deep material and more into Ed and Al heh.

If your posting here to reccomend a seris, please describe what kind of seris it is(comedy, horror, shonen-ai, yaoi, etc), along with a descrpition and if you want, a picture, as stated in the first post.
I reccommend: Innocent Venus, 12 episodes.
In the year 2010 AD, Hyper Hurricanes born concurrently all over the world caused severe damage. Five billion people lost their lives, decreasing the world's population to 3 billion. Existing economies and militaries were wiped out. Countries were frozen under solid ice, plains sank beneath seas, the world was changed dramatically. Human civilization enters a chaotic era. Poverty flourished outside of these ecomomic zones and slums were widespread. The ruling class called themselves Logos and maintained their position by force of arms. They call the poor Revenus, who are exiled to live outside the special economic areas. Time has passed since then. Katsuragi Jo and Tsurasawa Jin, escape from Phantom, a force organised to watch Revenus and to suppress renegade elements of the Logos, taking with them a mysterious girl, Noto Sana. There are many who are interested in her, all with their own reasons.

It's one of my fave anime right now.

Shinichi Chiaki is the top piano student at the Momogaoka College of Music and an excellent violinist, but Chiaki doesn't care about playing these instruments as much as he dreams of someday being a conductor. Chiaki, however, has several deeply rooted fears about traveling, and so finds himself "trapped" in Japan. Because he's trapped, Chiaki starts to question exactly how far he can possibly go in music, especially when he's passed over again and again by others he believes less worthy of musical scholarship and fame.
Recently dumped by his girlfriend for a "ham" looking fellow, passed over for a chance to go overseas, and removed from his star spot in the piano competition because he walked out on his piano instructor, Chiaki is at his limit. This is when he meets Nodame, or Megumi Noda. Nodame is a free — and filthy — spirit who reminds Chiaki that music can be fun and what drew him to be a conductor in the first place. In learning how to deal with Nodame, Chiaki learns how to deal with others. Chiaki begins to realize what is possible for him, even within the country of Japan.
For Nodame, Chiaki is everything she isn't. Clean, neat, dedicated, studious and inherently arrogant about his accomplishments and capabilities, Chiaki constantly bullies her into being more serious about life. He sees potential in her and her abilities as a pianist that she doesn't care about. She loves Chiaki and wants to be with him, but because she's not serious about her piano studies nor her personal hygiene, Chiaki always denies her affections.
Drawn together in a turbulent relationship, Chiaki's perfectionism and Nodame's untamed nature ends up complementing each other. As the story progresses, they mature as individuals, as musicians and as a couple.

I highly suggest Monster!
Description: Dr. Tenma is a Japanese man working in Germany. He has it all, incredible medical skill, a great job, a beautiful fiancee. He becomes disillusioned with the hospital politics though, when one day he's ordered to forgo operating on a critically injured man in favor of someone who was more famous. After this point, he decides he will do what he thinks is right, regardless of politics.
One day, a young boy and his younger sister were brought in. The boy had a bullet in his head, an operation that the doctor knows only he is capable of completing successfully. But soon after a politician was brought to the hospital and the high ups in the hospital want Dr. Tenma to leave the boy to operate on the politician. Dr. Tenma decides that he'll do what's right and save the young boy's life.
The young boy's operation was a success, but the surgeons operating on the politician fail, prompting his life to fall apart. Dr. Tenma is passed over for a promotion and his fiancee becomes cold to him and eventually leaves him.
But soon after, strange murders begin to occur, ones that benefit Dr. Tenma greatly and though he becomes the #1 suspect, they have no evidence against him. But it seems that the boy whose life he saved has a hand in things, and that he is much more than he seems...
