All viewers are recommended to remove any affection for the clear and logical in order to be able to fully enjoy this piece of entertainment, starting with the unfortunate Naota Nandaba getting hit by a psychotic girl (literally, with some sort of chainsaw-bass guitar) after being run over by a overtuned vespa and teased to death by his brother's girlfriend, not to mention all the crazy stuff that happens to the bump on his forehead after the collision with the guitar...it's completely crazy, hilarious, unconprendable, unimaginable - got to love it, have to see it! FLCL has to be the craziest, random-est (the japanese version is hard to translate without subtitles, because there are lots of really bad puns and word-plays) It is the best soundtrack I have ever heard, besides Paranoia Agent and Naruto. I HAVE to agree with Christopher Daniel though, he must watch a lot of the same tv as me b/c he listed ALL of my favorite anime/manga! ================================ .: Cher :. folly cooly is one of the best things ever to be drawn ================================ .: Shirahime :. hahaha...Furi Kuri is probably the funniest manga/anime there is! ================================ .: Yolanda :. furi kuri or fooly cooly is one of the best anime ever made.the whole concept of it is great it has so many messages about life.i especially like the relationships between naota and haruko, and mamimi and naota.it is a brilliant piece of artwork. ================================ .: Rick Himura :. Furi Kuri is one of the best anime ever made since Rurouni Kenshin, Excel Saga, and Evangelion came out. All the characters are totally out of their mind, especially Naota. He may be too young for Haruko and Mamimi, but he is mentally mature for them (I don't really know, he never seems to let go of his feelings, and his intentions are shown through his actions). Naota and Haruko, what a fantastic relationship they share (they're insane, it's a "fooly cooly" relationship). I feel so sorry for Mamimi though, she deserves better... :'( The ending was very touching 'cause a message regarding life was clearly presented. The message is an everyday thing that is experienced: moving on. DAMN!, it's a freakin wonderful piece of art. ================================ .: Pai :. This is one of those anime that makes next to no sense, and is perfect if you are hyper or insane. I enjoyed watching it, even though it left my head spinning with confusion in the end. I also saw the episodes of Fooly Cooly on Cartoon Network. It is absolutely hilarious though so watching it is definitly reccomended! ================================ .: Gaeten :. Furi Kuri is ahead of its time! the frames, the angles, the visual aesthetics of the whole show are phenomenal. The story is POWERFUL! and the relationship crafted between naota and haruko is unique. I am in love. ================================ .: Christopher Daniel :. Fooly Cooly is a great show. I would DEFINTELY have to agree with Clayton about Haruko! If youre a big fan of Trigun, or cowboy bebop, or Lupin the TTT, or inuyasha (my favorite second ONLY to FLCL), etc, then you'll most likely like this show, it's excellent. ================================ .: Pinball :.
